Rachel Bailey, FNP-C
Co-Owner/ Co-Founder / Nurse PractitionerRachel is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where she earned both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Rachel spent several years working in the pharmacy setting. She believes that this provided her with a unique and useful skill set that benefitted her significantly as a prescribing provider. Rachel has spent the last four years working at a local primary care office seeing patients for both chronic care management and acute problem visits.
Rachel is passionate about patient-centered, cost-effective, and efficient healthcare. She believes that our current insurance-based healthcare system is often limiting to patients and has actually resulted in less access, higher prices, and poor patient-provider relationships, while also leading to healthcare provider burnout. She looks forward to ultimately expanding Berkeley Home Clinic’s services to provide primary care in addition to acute / urgent care.
When not in clinic, Rachel is spending time with her husband, Vance, and their two boys - Samuel and Levi. As a family, they enjoy spending time outside, whether it be going for golfcart rides around the neighborhood, swimming in the pool, or boating on the Cooper River. Rachel is proud to have grown up in Moncks Corner and she and her husband look forward to raising their boys here and continuing to give back to the community.
Elizabeth Glauser, FNP-C
Co-Owner/ Co-Founder / Nurse PractitionerElizabeth is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent time working as a pharmacy technician and then as a travel hospice nurse right here in the Lowcountry. She has spent the last four years working as a nurse practitioner at a local urgent care.
She believes that her diverse experiences in healthcare have allowed her to become a provider who is compassionate and able to create trusting relationships with patients while also providing efficient, evidence-based care.
When not caring for her patients, Elizabeth is spending time with her husband, Joe, and their 3 children - Luke, Abigail, and Benjamin. As a family, they enjoy spending time outside, going to Luke’s sporting events, baking with Abigail, watching college football, and visiting breweries. Elizabeth is also native to Moncks Corner and she remains eager to continue to provide high-quality care to all patients who walk through her door.
